Spribe has achieved a legal win in the UK against Aviator LLC, with the High Court officially prohibiting Aviator LLC from promoting or launching its crash game in the British market.
The two Georgian companies have been locked in a trademark dispute since Spribe introduced its Aviator crash game to the UK in 2020. While Aviator LLC previously won a major court ruling in Georgia-including a $330 million damages award in August 2024-Spribe has now prevailed in the UK, where the court has barred Aviator LLC’s game to safeguard Spribe’s well-established Aviator brand.
David Natroshvili, Spribe Founder and CEO, mentioned:
I am pleased that the highly respected UK Court supports our position and has granted an injunction preventing Aviator LLC from launching and promoting its copycat game.
Spribe created the Aviator crash game in 2018 and is the sole owner of the game globally.
We will continue to take all necessary steps globally to protect Spribe, our partners and players from any third parties who seek to undermine or infringe our rights.
Spribe stated that the UK court characterized Aviator LLC’s behavior as “childlike” and “petulant.” The company also criticized the earlier Georgian court decision, calling it “flawed” and claiming it resulted from an unusually swift and procedurally unsound legal process in a jurisdiction where judicial independence and transparency have been repeatedly called into question.
