The French gambling regulator ANJ, in collaboration with the sports management platform SportEasy, has launched a new campaign to raise awareness about the risks of sports betting and encourage responsible gaming practices.
Targeting amateur sports, the initiative aims to educate players and clubs on the potential dangers linked to betting.
As part of the program, 14 amateur clubs from across France will be chosen to participate. These clubs will serve as prevention ambassadors, sharing key messages with their members. To support their involvement, organisers will provide sports kits featuring awareness slogans, along with financial aid of €450 per club to help fund their activities and projects.
In total, 196 kits will be distributed, and €6,300 will be allocated among the participating clubs. The campaign highlights a broader effort to safeguard athletes and limit the impact of gambling on amateur sports. Applications for club participation are currently open.
SportEasy, which has held an official French gambling-related license since 2018, is recognised for its expertise in managing amateur clubs and teams. With extensive experience in coordinating large-scale initiatives and engaging thousands of clubs nationwide, the platform is a strategic partner for ANJ in advancing effective prevention measures against gambling-related risks.
