[TRENDING] Brevis on His Century: Playing with Heart and Fire

For his sensational performance, Dewald Brevis was named Man of the Match in the second men’s T20I between South Africa and Australia.

Speaking about his innings after the game, the cricketer expressed that he enjoyed playing his natural game in Darwin.

That’s just how I play. I’ve hit thousands of balls, and I just go out there to enjoy myself, watch the ball, and let it happen. I’m not trying to force anything. I just want to be myself and have fun,” he explained.

The young talent also revealed that this performance was the result of a personal commitment he made late last year.

I believe God blessed me with the talent to play aggressively,” he emphasizes. “On 28 December last year, I made a promise to stay true to the original Dewald to trust myself, watch every ball, and play my game.”
